Meet
Abby
We lovingly call her "Crabby Abby". She was a brood mare for several years and as a result has spread ribs and possible nerve damage. Abby is sweet and at the same time, very sour. She doesn’t like to be ridden or touched most of the time. If you look at her she will pin her ears, but if you offer a carrot - different story! Ears up and she politely takes the offering. Then pins her ears again!
Abby was schooled
through 2nd level dressage and has beautiful, flowing gates. Our hesitancy in
adopting her out is that someone would see the potential and try to make her
into a dressage horse again. It would be a battle. We feel Abby deserves to
retire. Ollie is her best friend now and they take good care of each other.
