Meet Slewy

Slewy is a 6 yr old gelding by Slewdledo (and grandson of Seattle Slew)...a pedigree I am very fond of. When I brought Slewy home, the plan was for him to race the next season. Anyone who bet that this horse would never see a race track again - made money.  I couldn't part with him and he's here to stay. Like most Slewdledo offspring, he is incredibly intelligent, kind hearted and brave. He is also very laid back ... okay, lazy!

Slew loves to cuddle, eat, and protect me from the attention of all other horses. And he keeps growing! He's at 17h now...he grew 2 inches in the last year.
